Representations i may use in my video

I wanted to create the representation of journey within ,my music video, and here are some ideas of how I would like to include this in my video: 

This is a vlog type handheld shot which will help portray a sense of journey to the audience as if they haven't taking any belongings with them apart from a camera and a few other things. 

I also believe that by using dissolves as transitions between shots, I can also create this representation of someone being on a journey. By doing this you could say that there may be a story line in my music video, however it wont be the typical love story line as I am going to try and include more realistic characters within my film, doing this by not including miming in my video. 

Another representation that I would like to create is change, and this is how I think I would create it within my music video: 

I will try to film over a long period of time, and then when it comes to editing my music video I will make the speed of the video faster therefore creating a sense of change. This video shows the type of thing of want to create but maybe with stars or the sun setting and rising. 

Another representation i am going to try and create in my music video is reality. 

I am going to try and film my video on holiday, therefore I would like to create a sense of reality by filming typical life and settings from where i am going. I believe this can be created by the vlogging techniques again, but also by the setting in which I film, and I will try to make this as typical of the country as possible. If I do this, it is possible that it won't go with Andrew Goodwin's theory as his theory seems to be more staged than this.
